What is digital mileage correction ?

Modern cars have electronic dashboards with digital odometer displays. The car manufacturers use these because they are cheaper to produce than a mechanical dashboard and easier to fit into the car as there is no mechanical speedometer cable. This new technology has its own problems though. Electrical pulses in the cars wiring can cause the dashboard data, which is stored internally on an EEPROM, should this become corrupted it may need our digital mileage correction service.

What is mileage recalibration?

Recalibration becomes necessary when the instrument dials on your dashboard malfunction. For example, the fuel gauge may be showing 1/4 full after you have filled the vehicle up, or it may even stop working altogether.
This can also happen to other gauges and dials. That's where we can help by electronically recalibrating the dashboard to either restore faulty gauges and dials, or to change miles to KM and vice versa.
